Don’t get me wrong, Snickers are so yummy with that chocolate peanut butter combination. But sadly, they are not dairy-free and are unhealthy to eat multiple in one sitting. These healthy versions of the famous Snickers bar are so yummy, and I prefer them over the original. They only take three ingredients and around five minutes to make. You need to try them today!
Ingredients:
- Dates (pitted)
- Meltable chocolate (dairy-free or milk chocolate)
- Peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
Instructions:
- Cut the dates in half
- Spread peanut butter between the two date halves, making a sandwich
- Melt chocolate as instructed on the packaging
- Cover the date sandwich with the melted chocolate until fully covered
- Optional step: sprinkle some sea salt on top of the chocolate
- Put in the fridge for around 15-20 minutes or until the chocolate has hardened
- Enjoy!
I will be making these every week now. I have gotten addicted. It was easy to make and did not require many ingredients, which is nice on a college student’s budget. Try out this recipe, and let me know what you think!
