For spring break this year one of my besties and I decided to take a trip to Disney World, and quickly became an unforgettable trip, and turned me into a certified Disney adult. We planned to visit two parks, 1 park per day. We started with Hollywood Studios and then the next day went to Epcot. We stayed at the Pop Century Resort on the property, and included with the hotel was a skyliner that took us to each park, so we did not have to handle driving or parking, it was great! We also got to enter the parks with early access since we were staying on the property.
Park Day 1: Hollywood Studios
We woke up bright and early around 6:15 am. We were staying at my Mimi’s house about 45 minutes away from Disney World so we had to get up early and drive to the park. I was excited to visit Hollywood Studios since I have not been there for years, since I was a little kid. It was my first time seeing the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I am not a big Star Wars fan, but the land was cool to see, and the rides were so fun. My favorite area of the park was Toy Story Land, all the details made me feel like a kid again.
Rides we went on:
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
- Muppet*Vision 3D
- Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run
- Slinky Dog Dash
- Toy Story Mania!
- Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (personal favorite, especially at night!)
We ended our night with one final ride on The Tower of Terror before we called it a night and headed back to our hotel to get some rest before we do it all over again tomorrow!
Park Day 2: Epcot
Our day started bright and early as we got on our Skyliner to Epcot to travel around the World! I like how Epcot is geared more toward adults than kids and allows us to explore all the countries.
Rides we went on:
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
- Frozen Ever After
- Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
- Test Track
- Mission: SPACE (both the green and orange)
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (personal favorite!)
- Spaceship Earth
- The Seas with Nemo & Friends
- Soarin’ Around the World
We ended our night in Epcot watching the Luminous – The Symphony of Us, their new light show at the closing of the park. We got some margaritas and a churro sundae from Mexico and enjoyed our food while we watched the show. Epcot was my favorite park of the two we visited!
I had a memorable and fun college spring break with my bestie and wouldn’t trade it for anything. I for sure want to go back to Disney within the next few years and do it all over again! Check out my 2024 Scrapbook to see more photos from this trip!
