Ball State Involvement
Order of Omega Member (November 2023 – Present)
Order of Omega is a leadership honor society for members of Fraternity & Sorority organizations. Order of Omega recognizes sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have exemplified high standards in scholarship, leadership, and involvement within their respective organizations and the Fraternity/Sorority, campus, and local community.
Members are selected from the top 3% of students at each institution. Over 500 chapters have been chartered throughout North America, each sharing the common goal of recognizing their institution’s many outstanding student leaders.
Duties include attending general body meetings monthly and helping plan events with the Fraternity and Sorority Life Office, including events like Greek Week.
Order of Omega Secretary (December 2023 – Present)
Voted in by the 28-member group as the secretary for the 2024 term of Order of Omega. Duties include keeping an up-to-date membership roster, keeping all meeting minutes and records, publishing a newsletter bi-monthly, and informing all members of membership changes.
Hospitality and Food Management Association (HFMA) Member (November 2023 – Present)
HFMA is a student-run organization that was a popular club before COVID-19. A group of students, including me, have decided to start the organization again on campus. This group aims to connect with both the Ball State and the local community in the hospitality industry, including local restaurants, event planners, hotels, and more, to deepen students’ understanding of the field.
Hospitality and Food Management Association (HFMA) Publicity Chair (November 2023 – Present)
Voted in by the members, I have been elected the Publicity Chair for this upcoming club. My duties include managing both social media platforms, Instagram and Facebook. Being knowledgable in social media and working with the other executive team members.
